We are delighted to be working with some of the most reputable
practitioners in the region and further afield who are highly
qualified in their particular disciplines as well as have visiting
specialists.
Among our practitioners are:
Anne
Grey BA (Hons), RSHom, DipHom; Registered with the Society of
Homeopaths, Fellow of the Healer Foundation
A renowned healer, Anne specialises in homeopathy, EFT and Life
Management. Using a combination of these wonderful therapies, her aim
is to restore her clients’ physical and psychological health,
increase energy levels and promote a sense of wellbeing and purpose.
She has a first class reputation for working with clients on issues
of mind, body and soul - including helping with lack of self esteem
and difficulty in relationships – and giving invaluable assistance to
achieve the true potential of a happy and fulfilling life.
Anne has over fifteen years as a practitioner in complementary
medicine, has published articles on EFT and Homeopathic Philosophy
and Practice, and teaches and supervises other practitioners and
students in her therapies. Elizabeth
Lavender (Bsc. MSc. CertTM. DipHCA. MCThA. MDYTA AC reg.)
Elizabeth holds degrees in psychology and health research and has
worked in the field of holistic health care for almost 20 years. She
qualified in Therapeutic Massage and Holistic Clinical Aromatherapy
10 years ago, since which time her practice has enabled her to
develop a client centred yet practical approach to the treatments she
offers. She has taken post graduate courses in Indian Head Massage,
Baby Massage, Reiki, Hot Stone Therapy and Hopi Ear Candling. Through
her developing interest in Eastern health philosophy she qualified as
a Daoyin Tao practitioner in 2004.
Rachel Oakley
Rachel is a fully-qualified, ITEC accredited complementary therapist specialising in Reflexology, Fertility & Pregnancy Reflexology, Therapeutic Massage and Ear Candling.
Her qualifications include: ITEC Diploma in Reflexology (Distinction level), ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage (Distinction level), ITEC Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology (Credit level); Maternity Reflexology (AoR accredited training undertaken by acclaimed midwife Susanne Enzer RSCN, SCM, RZT). She has a Certificate in Advanced Reflexology, Transforming Touch No Hands Massage (CThA accredited training by acclaimed Gerry Pyves) and Hopi Ear Candling.
Rachel is a member of the Complementary Therapy Association (CThA) and Association of Reflexology (AoR) and adheres fully to their codes, professional practices and insurance policies.
Sarah Chisem BSc (Hons) MChs, Podiatrist
Sarah is a highly experienced podiatrist who offers a number of treatments including advice on footwear, looking at biomechanics – how you walk and move – and then tailoring a bespoke treatment plan.
Within this plan Sarah may also supply orthotics, which are tailor-made insoles that aim to realign the foot, padding and arch supports to relieve pain and give exercises to improve muscles.
Even if your feet are in general good condition, a single session of podiatry will remove the hard skin on the feet, toenails are clipped, and you can find out if you’re wearing the right shoes or simply get advice on proper foot care.
Sarah is also qualified and experienced in nail surgery.
Andy Coates
Andy is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, NLP Master Practitioner and INLPTA Certified NLP Trainer He is a member of the National Hypnotherapy Society (NHS) and the International NLP Trainers Association and is certified in the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Emotional Freedom technique (EFT). He also holds a Master's Degree in Psychology from Leeds University.
Andy's approach is integrative and uses both conscious and unconscious methods to identify problems, elicit resources and deliver outcomes. To this end, Andy uses a variety of techniques derived from the specified therapies
Andy's work helps clients to overcome, problem/issues, disabling states of mind, limiting beliefs, unuseful, habitual patterns as well as addressing more conscious-minded life-coaching scenarios.
Andy also offers a unique de-cluttering service based upon initial clarification of values in any given context (e.g. relationships, career, business and domestic environments, retirement) and subsequent decision-making to achieve substantial and long-lasting change.
Jane Coorland
Jane is a fully-qualified ITEC accredited complementary therapist specialising in holistic facials, reflexology including Chinese foot reflex therapy working on specific acupressure points. She is also trained in Holistic Massage and Indian Head Massage and trained to the 2nd degree in Reiki.
Jane is VTCT accredited for a range of beauty treatments; she has had extensive training with Spa Find – which produces authentic organic plant extract and Dead Sea mineral products - for a range of superb holistic facials.
Claire Milner
With six years' experience including working with the Police Treatment Centre, Claire is fully ITEC and VTCT accredited and specialises in Hot Stone, Indian Head, Swedish and Aromatherapy massage techniques.
Vicky Tetley BSc(Hons), Member of the CSP, HPC, AAPC
Vicky Tetley is a highly qualified physiotherapist specialising in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.
Vicky qualified from The University of Liverpool in 1999 with a BSc Hons Degree in Physiotherapy. She initially worked within the NHS then at Featherstone Rovers Rugby League Club and latterly has worked in a private hospital in Harrogate. Vicky specialises in the assessment and treatment of back and neck pain, whiplash injuries, headaches, vertigo, upper and lower limb sports injuries, pregnancy related problems and pre and post operative orthopaedic surgery.
Vicky is registered with all major insurance companies including BUPA, AXA - PPP, AVIVA, Simply Health and many more.
